P.S. What does your guy really want for Valentine’s Day? Sex. Now, isn’t that easier than making 52 playing cards (one of the most popular pins on Pinterest)? You’re welcome!

I noticed one of the Bittersweets says “U have a blog”. I can’t figure out if they’re saying it like it’s a bad thing or if it’s meant like, “Girl, you have a blog; you don’t need a man to make you feel special! The whole internet thinks you’re special!” (Well the portion who enjoy reading your blog anyway.)

I have to admit, most of these are seriously “WTF?”. I also have to admit that I made the “52 reasons” book for my husband this year. BUT in my defense I have NO chance of getting a flight to Afghanistan and he has NO chance of being home for Valentine’s Day. But I promise that I will do my “good wife duty” and give him lots of “what he really wants” as soon as the Army sends him home
I tease, but I do think the “52 Reasons” is awesome! I wish I could bring your honey home to you. Thanks to both of you for your sacrifice. <3
Thank you hun. He actually got it in the mail today, so I was SO happy that I had mailed it in time and weather kept it from being delayed. (Hurricane Sandy delayed his anniversary package for three weeks and I mailed it three weeks early.) He loved this though. He compared it to the calendar I made for him when he left for Basic Training. I had put together photos of our kids and us for each of the five months he would be gone and marked special days for him. He loved it. He said this “52 Reasons” really made him feel special
I wish we didn’t have to be so lonely, but at least the love is there. I know too many couples that just don’t make it through deployments.
Such a beautiful thing to read! You are an amazing woman and wife. You have lessons to teach us all. <3
I want to make the 52 reasons I love you because I want it for myself. That way, when he pisses me off and I want to drink a bottle of Captain Morgan, I can turn to my awesome mini album and remember why he’s actually awesome. Plus, why can’t he get sex AND something he’ll want to throw away?!
Ha ha ha! I think your use of “52 Reasons” is awesome. I plan on making one for my guy next year after we are married. I’m a sap.
I blog too and I’m publishing a thing comparable to this excellent blog post, “Oh, Valentine
Thanks! Would love to read it!
I wanna do things to your BUTT! I laughed so hard!
So funny!
That bra looks PINCHY.
And god forbid you sweat at all – the STICKY!
